In notable BHS performances in the tournament, Slaughterhouse Five (an optional novel from Introduction to Literature II) advanced to the elite eight, as did Fahrenheit 451, which will be one of the books given away at BHS for World Book Night. The Hunger Games, which won the award for the best book in our sophomore curriculum, ran into a tough opponent in the second round and did not advance to the Sweet Sixteen.
