The Marble Collection – Spring 2013 Release Party – 5/16/13

The upcoming edition of The Marble Collection features stories by Danielle Calder, Meghan Girouard and Katie Hubbard. No school had more written work accepted this time around than BHS.

Check out their page: The Marble Collection – which currently features a short story by BHS junior Kylie Scott, which was published in the Winter 2013 edition, on its front page.

The magazine also wishes to announce a celebration for the magazine’s release, and sent along the following information:

Please join us on May 16th, 2013, from 7:30-9:30 PM, at The Center for the Arts, Natick, MA to celebrate the creative accomplishments of The Marble Collection: Massachusetts High School Magazine of the Arts teen artists and writers. The event is free and open to the public; students, families, friends, educators, and art-appreciators are all welcome to attend! The event will feature:

  • Student Artwork Sale & eGallery
  • Student Musical Performances
  • Student Author Readings
  • Appetizers & Desserts from TBA
  • Raffle Prizes

If you are unable to attend the event and would still like to purchase student artwork please visit the following link to our eGallery: themarblecollection.org/egallery.

We encourage a donation of $10 or more at the door. 100% of donations and eGallery sales support the production and distribution of the Massachusetts High School Magazine of the Arts and ensures that the Student-Mentoring Workshop, in which college-level mentors help teens share and refine their voices, continues to enrich the lives of Massachusetts youth—at no cost to the school or student.
