Ever Want to Know Which Literary Character You Are?

There’s a pretty interesting website where you can think of any character from any book, movie or TV show, and through a series of Yes/No questions, the webpage guesses exactly who you are thinking of. The page is uncanny in its accuracy, especially with lesser-known characters.

But with a few minor tweaks, you can, simply by answering questions honestly about yourself, figure out who you are in the history of all fictional characters. To make this work, do the following (read through the instructions first before clicking the link in step #1):

2) Your first question will be whether or not you are thinking of a real character. Since you are trying to discover your FICTIONAL doppelgänger, answer “No” for #1

3) Any time the question asks you about whether you have been in a movie or TV show, say “No,”

4) If it asks if you are the main character, then say yes, because you are the captain of your fate and the master of your soul. But if it asks if you control your character, say “No” – because otherwise you’ll get a computer game character

5) To give you a broader range of possible answers, say “No” to any question that mentions new(ish) technology, like cellphones or computers – otherwise, everybody will be from a 21st century book.

If you’d like to share your results, feel free to do so in the comments section below. There’s no shame… Good luck!
