As we all know, April is poetry month. In recent years, a poetry writing challenge has emerged where people are encouraged to write 30 poems in 30 days. Mr. Lally’s Creative Writing: Poetry class is taking on this challenge, starting today.
There are no rules for the style or the content of the poems, only that they have to be completed by the 30th, and they have to be new (revisions do not count).
If you are interested in taking on this challenge as well, check out the links at the top of Mr. Lally’s class homepage – you’ll find two places where you can get a daily prompt for each day in April to help keep you motivated.
Good luck, poets!
