The day is done, and the majority of our World Book Night books have found their new homes. The Perks of Being a Wallflower CDs are gone, the Word Wealth books have been found, and the teachers have given away their gifts. Overall, we estimate that there are close to 100 books that now have a new home, and we’ve enjoyed getting them out into people’s hands. Thank you especially to all of the teachers who signed up to be our mystery criminals.
There are, however, a small handful of people who have not yet been caught – check the English hallway for updates, but as of right now, there are still 6 more books to be found out there. Get crafty, detectives. You have until FRIDAY.
Didn’t find a book? Here’s a sampling of some of the places you might have found one…
Two other pieces of unfinished business – tonight (April 30) from 6 to 8, Collab will be sponsoring an Open Mic Night at True North. Stop by to read your own work, or listen to other students read theirs. Also, the FREE BOOKS table in the English hallway still has a pile of books ready to be claimed. Grab one tomorrow!
