Olive Kitteridge Miniseries on HBO – November 2 & 3

The HBO two-day miniseries of Olive Kitteridge, an adaptation of the Elizabeth Strout novel that has become a part of our Contemporary Literature elective, will air on November 2 and 3 on HBO. The story centers around Olive, who lives in midcoast Maine in the fictional town of Crosby, and the novel examines the impact that she has on her family and on the lives of the people who live in her small community. The cast is excellent, with Frances McCormand starring as the title character, and with Richard Jenkins and Bill Murray in supporting roles.
