On April 6, for the second-straight year, the sophomores went on an all-day field trip to New York City to view the Broadway production of The Curious Incident of the Dog in the Night-Time, the 2015 Tony Award Winner for Best Play. We brought nearly 100 students to New York, where they saw Central Park (including the John Lennon tribute in Central Park West, the Bethesda Fountain (see below) and the skating rink, duck lagoon and carousel featured in The Catcher in the Rye). We then headed south through the city, past Rockerfeller Center, to the theater, where we enjoyed an amazing play. We ended the day in Times Square before heading home.
Special thanks to Mrs. McKee, Mr. Hill, Mrs. Smetana, and Italian teacher Francesca Torrieri for helping with the chaperoning. And we hope the students had an excellent time!
