Audio Recordings of POL Poems

To help with the selection and memorization of Poetry Out Loud poems (or simply to listen to good poetry!) we are beginning to compile poems that are read by BHS students that you can listen to from your computer or smartphone. We have created a SoundCloud page, where we will continue to upload any submissions that we receive.

If you wish to add your own recordings (perhaps as a way of satisfying your Blizzard Bag requirement?), we recommend the app “QuickVoice” – and you can email any .mp3 or .m4a files to Mr. Lally at – he will add them to this page as soon as he is able. If you accidentally record a poem that we already have catalogued, we will keep whichever recording is higher quality.
